Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Imp & Angel

Micro-pub that is set back just far enough from the building line as to be rather inconspicuous, but otherwise much as you might expect... until, that is, you see the sports TV. Apart from that, it serves four cask ales, with a pair from Zest - Opal Fruits and Quench (£4.00) - along with Bruha's Cupshot Bitter and Life in Miniature from Welbeck Abbey. Also has a few more, fairly mainstream, keg beers from fonts on the counter and on the bar-back. However, not very welcoming I thought.

One of two micros along this stretch and well described below. On arrival, I was admonished by the barmaid for not closing the door – a brief WTF moment – before we settled down to the accompaniment of unwatched F1 with noisy commentary, which would have been louder had Murray Walker still been alive. It’s cramped, customers seemingly amounting almost exclusively to quite butch males. I didn’t like the atmosphere here and didn’t have a drink, but was happy to leave, feeling about as welcome as a fart in a spacesuit. The neighbouring Tiny Tavern is easily the superior of the two and given the TV, is this really a micropub or just a small bar conversion with cask ale? The Little Green Dragon this isn’t.

A small and compact micropub, which was predominantly full of blokes on our Friday eve visit all drinking beer. The bar area along the back wall was very brightly lit, with a white and stainless steel back bar that resembled a cosmetic counter in Boots, which l suppose was good in a way, at least you could read the pump clips, bit OTT for me. The main room was wallpapered with large mirrors along the wall. Four hand pumps, with three in use, Zest Brewery Starburst & Quench plus Ossett & Stewart Brewing Kokomo.
