Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Halfway House

Must have driven past this place hundreds of times over the decades, but never stopped until I walked past it (which is tricky, given its location at the junction of two former turnpike roads without footways) this time. The partly opened-out interior was more modern than I was expecting, with a lounge area in front of the bar counter and dining spaces at either end. Unfortunately, none of the three handpumps was operational due to delivery issues, but London Pride is the regular cask beer, usually with something from Canterbury Ales as a guest. From the fairly limited range of keg taps, I opted for the Meantime Pale (£4.50), but some bottled beers are also available.
