A new pub/bar opposite Reading train station which is basically a large adapted container. There is some basic seating inside, a decked seating area outside to the front and the roof has also been decked accessed by external stairways and once up there you can sit down and choose one of several views, the station, the Three Guineas or as Quinno mentions below a building site. Back in the bar there was a couple of pumps,West Berks Good Old Boy and on the other was a reversed Tutts Clump Cider clip reversed, there was also a couple of craft taps next to the pumps. Although not a favorite beer or style of mine the Good Old Boy was in excellent condition.I'm rating this 6/10 based really on the novelty factor, but in truth I couldn't see myself rushing back.

Brand-new outlet opened in June 2016. A bar designed to cater for the 'event space' created by the demolition of the eyesore Western tower and surrounding block. Temporary in nature, but may reside for up to 10 years dependent on the progress of development planning of the site. West Berks have the lease. Two pumps with one on - a pretty decent Good Old Boy. Avoid the craft keg, you'll be shelling out almost a fiver. Downstairs is fairly small with a fairly modern feminine look. There's also an open-air upstairs rooftop area but with very little in the way of seating. It's fair to say that over the course of my pint, the novelty of overlooking a building site and train concourse wore off fairly quickly.
