this is the tourist trap cafe/pub place that is very visible and audible from the pier, with a bad karaoke artist usually polluting the airwaves. can be tempting with its large bustling outside area but best to just move along

It is exactly as Mr Ashworth says. Its basically a conservatory with some beer fonts. Lots of seats outside and an outside stage for the music. What he doesn't mention, however, is that it has no real ale and is expensive. £3.40 for a pint of John Smith's? No thank you.

Although classed as a café the place is mainly beer orientated.It is set in a good spot next to the pier and does a good trade helped by the continuous live music mainly from the 50's and 60's
