This is a fun bar up some steps from the High Street. It has a low ceiling ,a long servery to the left and a series of high tables along the other side,in a modern style. At the end is a large beer menu on the wall.We arrived on a Sunday early evening with some live music ongoing with a reasonable crowd in attendance. There was a single ale in Marston's Hobgoblin but an interesting selection of 8 craft kegs with Marble Clyde and their Hungry Joe Mountain IPA the pick and both very good.
I would pop in again given the paucity of interesting beer elsewhere in Uppermill.

A small bar that was a former bottle shop. The interior now has a long bar down the far left hand side and had a stainless steel counter, four handpumps on the bar and eight keg taps along the back wall. The seating arrangements consisted of high tables and stools along the window side wall and a low table and chairs positioned along the far wall. A few painted bees around the ceiling added some novelty. We went for the locale, which was Donkeystone Brewery Cotton Clouds, which was in excellent condition. It slipped down nicely with a hot meat and potato pie from Buckley's the bakers, just up the road on the opposite side. One of the best pies in the country at £1.60 each.

Extensive selection of bottled beers. I had Thornbridge Chiron from Key Keg.
Another warm welcome.
