One of those sorts of Manchester places ROBCamra drags you into when you’re too drunk to know. It’s a cellar bar opposite the Gaslamp, another cellar bar but which is easier to find due to its big sign. Modern blonde wood tables with comfortable and matching chairs and with bench seating down both sides. The counter is behind you to the right after coming downstairs, five pulls of neat interesting beers plus decent kegs on a solo and four way T-bar. Plenty of arty pictures on one wall, the other has a panorama of Manchester from afar, otherwise pumpclips as artifacts and bloody fairy lights. Friendly staff and it’s a GBG2020 pub, well worth a visit.

Good beer guide 2019 entry.
Cellar bar, very much like the Gas Lamp over the road.
Everything is source from 30 miles of Manchester - from the beers to the excellent music at a decent level.
Enjoyable visit with a friendly owner.

A small basement bar, packed to the point of being uncomfortable on a Friday evening. With five handpumps for ale, there is a Locale policy here,I chose Rammy Craft Titch which was fine, I can see this is a decent bar but really was too busy to fully appreciate on my visit.
