Purecraft Bar & Kitchen is a new pub that is housed in an old building,it faces the long gone Court pub.
Once inside there is a large square shaped room with the bar on the right side, the floor is bare boarded, the seating in the main area is normal tables and chairs and a few tall tables and stools and two long tables with stools fixed to them, there is a decent sized raised area running down the left side, the seating here is comfy bench seating and chairs.
This is a Purity run pub so a first for Nottingham, there were six pumps on the bar with three beers doubled up,i had a drink of Purity Pure Gold which went down well, the other beers were Purity Mad Goose and Purity UBU.
Food is served from a open kitchen area to the rear right, what i saw was served on boards,so it must be pretty trendy.
I had no bother in getting served and sitting where i wanted to,so they may have relaxed on asking if dining or not.
I quite liked this new addition to Nottinghams drinking scene.

We arrived just in time for the Friday 5 - 7pm "Tappy Hour" which meant a third off beer. The young trendy barmaid was chatty and helpful and only asked us once if we were in for a bite to eat. There were two banks of Purity beers and three guest. We went for the Purity Mad Goose, which was excellent and even better at the reduced price. Also on the bar was their extensive choice of keg beers and lagers dispensed from taps across a piece of heavy industrial piping, painted in red, very similar to their bar in Brum.
The main bar is over on the right of entrance, with the kitchen area in the corner and the rest of the areas set out with long bench tables mid section and a raised area along the far windows. Some contemporary artwork was on display around the walls and colour scheme was of dark yellows and greens, and floor was oak boards and block. The place had good atmosphere and was laidback, well worth a visit.
