Opened in March 2016,this new build Beefeater also has a Premier Inn on site with a seperate entrance around the back.Beefeater branding dominates but if you walk in ,although you are confronted by a "wait to be seated" lecturn there is a seperate section to the right where you can just simply drink.There are three circular pine tables,seating for 10 together with two fruit machines.At the long bar there are the usual keg suspects but also two handpumps dispensing Doom Bar and Adnams Ghost Ship (decent nick and only £1.60 the half).The rest of the interior is given over to a large dining room with corporate design and menus.
In good weather there is a large outside terrace with a lot of wooden furniture but unexciting views over a mini roundabout.
Although I wouldn't spend a session in here ,given it is the only place around the Marsh Lane industrial estate that acts as a bar,there will be some drinking customers and two lads were quaffing lager on my midweek lunchtime trip.In good weather the outside seating may also attract boozers.
