This is a small bar under a railway arch around the corner from Waterloo Station. There were five cask ales on, all at reasonable prices and none from the usual suspects. I had a pint of the superb Redemption Brewery Big Chief - a 5.5% ABV beer and at £5 a pint 4p cheaper than the pint I had in the 'spoons at Waterloo Station. It's card only in here.
There are about a dozen tall tables and tall stools with a couple of booths at the back. There's also some outside seating at the front under the railway arch, and some more at the back underneath the plane trees in Concert Hall Approach. This is nothing like a traditional pub, but nevertheless a useful addition to the local pub landscape.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Waterloo Tap
Housed in a single railway arch between Waterloo East and Hungerford Bridge, with space for a limited amount of furniture and decor largely restricted to bare bricks. Mind you, the copper bar-back has an impressive array of shiny handles to look at and ponder what to select. Four of six cask ale taps in operation on this visit, offering Brass Castle's Morph (£5.40) and others from East London, Redemption and Siren, along with 18 of the 20 keg taps on, dispensing a wide variety of beers (including the same brewery's 7.4% Disruptor, £5.60 for a schooner) plus a solitary cider.

Housed in a railway arch this is owned by the people behind the Euston Tap. Quite a basic interior serving 14 keg and 6 cask.
