Requested be closed with reason - Other: This place looks well closed, but there was a gig advertised for the end of May, so perhaps it just oppens for music events. Nothing to show that there's a brewery or bar on the premises these days.

Visit (of sorts) April 2016
This turned out to be closed on my Friday afternoon visit. I spoke to someone taking in some bags of malt and he said that in the winter (presumably October to April) it's just open as a music venue on Friday and Saturday nights. The man I spoke to said that they had been concentrating on brewing beer throughout the winter.
Inside it's a large square high ceilinged room with the bar on the right and a bank of hand pumps.
Bar with new microbrewery in the Old Market Hall building.
