The Dead Crafty Beer Co has a counter up the right with a long line of craft keg fonts across the back bar. I opted for a 2/3 pint of 4% Neon Raptor Escape from New York for £4.50, which cost the same as a pint of 4.5% Porter in the previous pub. There’s an extensive range of craft keg, and more bottled/canned options in some fridges. At the end of the counter, at the rear, is a raised seating area where the staff/owners had set up camp, so I sat at one of the tables up the left that are overlooked by graffitied exposed brick walls. The service was polite, but there’s no cask and I didn’t find it very comfortable so I’ll be walking past next time.

Often comes up on "must visit" lists in a City that is blessed with far too many must visits. All keg. Most served in 2/3rds. Several north of double digits.

Bar bricked, mural spray painted edgy vibe. Hard to get a feel for the place, as I was the only punter on a Tuesday afternoon.

They do sell slabs crisps. If you know, you know :-)

A bare brick and fibreboard shop conversion, with a long line of taps on the wall, and a beer list for those whose eyes can't make out much at that distance. Service was friendly and helpful, and when I queried the two-thirds units quoted on the list, I was told that I could have a half of two-thirds, to which I replied - I was sober at this point - "you mean a third?". He did. I had a third of Chain House Staying Colourful, and a photo of the disc was facilitated with a smile. Really not my sort of beer - it's beer for people who prefer fruit juice as far as I'm concerned. But I'll try (almost) anything once.
