The Bastion is the bar/restaurant part of The Shankly Hotel. It is to your left as you enter. As expected its full of Liverpool FC and Bill Shankly memorabilia. TV screens show football matches and images of Shankly era Liverpool. Its sadly an expensive little place and I'd love to say its good, but its not. No real ale as yet. For Liverpool Fc tourists only. Also, the actual postcode is L1 6DN but your postcode checker tells me it doesn't exist. But it does.
