Prefer cask beers, but always game to give craft a go, so visited here last month. Good selection to choose from and ended up with 3 of them. Zombie Coke, Jet Black Heart and Dead Pony. Once the extreme coldness wore off and the flavour was able to come through, they were not bad beers.

Double shop width and quite deep premises a couple of doors up from Brigantes. 14 keg taps on the wall behind the pallet fronted counter, beers are shown by A4 print outs on clipboards, geddit? Multiple spaces right, left and towards the back, all a bit different but equally distressed looking from the dodgy floor to the possibly recovered tongue and groove or sterling board on the walls. The main bar has some booth seating with tables & chairs in other parts and there's a fair amount of vertical drinking space as well. Cable tray and Edison bulbs make an inevitable appearance but all in all an interesting addition to Micklegate.

Usual raw brewdog interior( multi roomed) although maybe less industrial than the other brewdog bars I've been in.
