Yet another cafe bar and yet another expensive one. If you're into being fleeced then the cafe bars in West Didsbury are for you. This one is right next to Withington Hospital and that's probably for the best. The bar is a single room with 3 overpriced handpumps serving real ale. A selection of other beers available that will send you rocketing to the poorhouse are advertised on the wall behind the bar.

George Charles takes it name from a previous owner who moved to Manchester from Armenia to Manchester and after marrying an English girl set up a shop selling exotic fruits.The building is situated in a good position on the junction of Burton Road and Nell Lane and is a Café bar that is pretty big on coffee and cakes.There was an ample amount of chairs and old tables plus 12 window stools on the Nell Lane side.There were 3 cask ales on, Doom Bar, a Stout(Which was on fine form)and the other one was obscured by a mountain of cakes and I could not read the clip.
