This is a beer hall, with lager from the Czech Republic served from tanks, with the number of days since the tank was broached being listed on the wall. The bar counter also has three hand pumps, but I didn't fancy any of the real ales, so stepped out of my comfort zone and went for Northern Monk Faith 5.4% from one of the numerous keg taps. There was some music playing at what was initially a reasonable vloume, but after a few minutes it was suddenly cranked up to a level that encouraged me to quickly drink my beer while it was still too cold and fizzy to be a pleasant experience.

Industrial type space with refectory benches and tables down the centre, and sofa like banquettes in squares down each side. Three pulls, one bare, Kirkstall Pale which ran off while I queued but a very decent Marble Pint remained albeit a bit pricey at £4.50 a pint. There are four Kuroce lager tanks to one side with the connecting pipe work, and there’s a sign, in the "our last horrible accident was" style, saying the tank was opened 2 days ago. Bare brick walls, concrete floor and rough iron work enhance the industrial feel of the place.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Headrow House

Headrow House is a former textile mill and this building was left unoccupied for ten years, until the people who own the Belgrave music hall, took it over. We called here on a Wednesday night and initially went into the food hall, by mistake, which is situated on the left of entrance. This area was busy and had a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The beer hall was quite the opposite, as it was practically empty. The long bar situated along the left hand wall, had a choice of two handpulled ales, with one available, Saltaire Blonde, and a very large choice of craft beers on tap and in bottles. There was also a good choice of continental lagers. We didn't make it to the upstairs cocktail bar and roof terrace on this visit.
