Great bar live music and friendly bar staff not closed as it states, was taken over last year and re-opened

Judging by the high ceiling and ornate cornices, this looks like an old pub which has been modernised without altering its basic shape. It seems to be very much sport orientated, with five large screen TVs showing football or tennis. The seating consists of chairs at tables around the walls, with lots of standing room left in the middle of the bare wooden floor. Guinness was £3.30 a pint and Tennent's, Stella Artois, San Miguel and Budweiser lagers are also on draught, as is Strongbow cider.
