The Interceptor is a large Hungry Horse pub so I wasn’t surprised to find it mostly set out for dining. There is a small ‘bar’ seating area with a pool table, but I don’t think the offering of only GK Old Speckled Hen on the five hand pumps is going to draw the discerning drinker into this shopping centre pub.

Glass-fronted Hungry Horse in the shopping centre, which does at least have a separate bar area to one side: not unpleasant and with IPA and Abbot on handpump. The family dining side is best avoided unless you are dining with a family.
