Occupying four or five adjacent former shops premises, including the former Revolution da Cuba next door, this cavernous bar/diner was previously called Bar Vin and Sherbet. It's in the centre of the night life area and holds regular entertainment and theme events in addition to hosting the stag and hen parties that destroy any hope of a quiet night's drinking. There is no longer any real ale or cider sold here (Rikorderlig does not count as real cider, despite what the staff told me). The food menu consists of burgers and other fast food. The female staff were young and pleasant, although there is such as thing as too many tattoos. Not overly revolting, but the lack of ale means I probably won't be back.

Sister bar to Revolution de Cuba (indeed the two are joined via a doorway - and till - so presume Cuba is a club venue and Revs is the daytime opener). Standard Revs interior that has clearly had a refit of late and in fairness was quite decent on a sunny afternoon after a cocktail-making class next door in Cuba. No ale or anything like that in here but seeing as it was a friends birthday, I wasn't too fussed. Food was fairly decent even if it was a heart attack on a plate. Started to fill up at 4pm with the usual stag and hen elements, including a bunch of neon jump-suited lads and a lass who had tattoos all the way up both legs. Decided it was probably time to head back to the hotel at that point as the screeching and bellowing began inbetween the inevitable binge-drinking.
