Another bland ale-less pub with absoloutely no ambiance about it at all, I'm sure it must have had some character back in the day but there is no evidence of that at all now.

There's no real ale available here, and a half of Guinness cost £2. There was no sign of food on Wednesday afternoon.
This is another very basic pub. There are fake black beams on the ceiling; there's a modern bar counter, but a few bits of the bar back are original - Victorian judging by the very nice cut and etched glazing - but much of it has been replaced by modern pine cladding. There's a DJ booth on the left, and a pool table on the right. There are TVs on the walls, one of which was showing an episode of Judge Rinder, presumably for the benefit of the barmaid who was probably bored to death with me and only one other taciturn customer in. Furnishings look basic and cheap, there's no decor; in fact the place looks to be basic and cheap. I can't see me visiting again.
