It's likely this will be the one and only review of this place as signs on the bar (see pictures) indicated that it will close in January 2017 to be converted to housing. It's probably no massive loss as the building is part of a golf course / hotel complex located up a tarmacked road off the B4027 with an interior suitably more 'golf clubhouse' than anything else and there was no real ale on offer - the closest being fridged bottles of Black Sheep Bitter and Shepherd Neame Spitfire. The latter was £3.50 and predictably too cold: I supped at the bar whilst a handful of people watched a property programme. I don't think it's demise is going to be any great loss...
