Alan Winfield left this review about Alley Cafe Bar
The Alley Cafe Bar is situated up a very narrow ally off angel row which opens out to the rear.
Once inside you have to go up a flight of steps to get into the main room, this room is smallish and oblong shaped, the bar is to the front left, the seating is a bench seat to the rear and small tables and chairs.
There is one handpump on the bar, this had Flipside English Crown on,this was a nice drink.
The bar does vegetarian food and children were welcome on my Saturday afternoon visit.
Background music was playing during my visit and the bar was very busy with both drinkers and diners.
There is an outside seating area at the end on the court and live bands are advertised and will play in this area.
I found this place to be friendly,it is a bit different to most of Nottinghams bars i have been in.
If you like veggie food and a decent drink in a nice friendly bar this is the place to go.
