The Old Glass House is a split-level sports bar on Stone Street Square. The long building looks like it’s had an interesting past, but it’s now a run-of-the-mill sport bar with televisions throughout for all things sport, although these were muted in favour of some 90s pop music. I was expecting Champions League build-up, but was confronted by Culture Beat’s Mr Vain. Sports bar? There’s a pool table with seating to the left of the central entrance, and a dartboard and the bar counter are found down steps to the right. Standard and premium keg was available, I had half a something that wasn’t great as the lines need cleaning. The service was polite, but I’ll not be revisiting.

Modern eatery drinkery wine barey place in some square. A longish thin place with the servery to your right on entering. It seems to be set up for diners and its on two levels with the bar down a few steps. No real ale despite there being 3 handpumps slap bang in the middle of the bar. Hobgoblin and other fizzpops on keg.
