Showpiece for the Gloucester Brewing Company. Bit of a cellar bar feel to the place, with a few seats outside.
Covid ordering is only via their own App - which you have to download. A bit of a faff and not the most user friendly.
Even after successfully navigating that and placing an order - I still had to ask the bar man where my pint was.
Gloucester Gold was a wonderful colour but rather headless.

This was our first pub to visit on our mini crawl around Gloucester and what a great place to start, especially when I tasted the Gloucester Brewery Session Pale Ale, it was outstanding. The pub had a laidback atmosphere and the customer base was a mix of drinkers and people calling in for a bite to eat. Eight handpumps on the bar serving 6 Gloucester brewery beers, 1 cider and 1 guest. The guest beer was Burning Sky Plateau.

Gloucester Brewery outlet strategically located next door to Spoons on the dockside in what looks like an original building. Main bar is as you enter, semi-divided by a brick wall, with a further room beyond. General décor theme is exposed brick walls, high tables and elevated perimeter banquettes; overall quite a nice use of the space. A chrome topped bar with 8 pumps all clipped; 4x Gloucester, 3x guests and a cider. Also ten kegs of interest on a metal pipe font. My Dockside Dark was a little warm but ostensibly fine. It's a fairly impressive endeavour and I'd happily pop back. 7.5
