Probably the maddest pub in Berkshire. Enter into what looks like an old army barracks. Bar is in a long, basic rectangular building. Plenty of pub oddities; animal-wise, there is a pub cat, dog and parrot as well as two fish tanks. Emerging collection of die cast toy vehicles. China knik-knaks above bar and beyond. Ice cream freezer. Function room with ballet and burlesque clubs(!) in residence. Unusable pool and darts (why??). Two ales, Hogs Back TEA (good) and Wadworth Henry's IPA (ok). Quite potty but I wouldn’t mind a revisit. 6.5
