Backstreet corner local in a Victorian terrace, far enough off the beaten track that it wasn’t on the radar of any of the main pub review sites until recently. L-shaped over two small interconnected rooms. A bit retro in the décor stakes (might be time to change the paint shade?) but a good atmosphere inside. Six Nations rugby being shown on a big screen. Two Rebellion ales at the bar; IPA and Smuggler (I think). I had an IPA which was in fair shape. If you’re doing the Grenfell, this is worth checking out.
