A strange cellar bar situated under a hotel. It has a sort of nautical theme and has plenty of curiosities dotted around and a load of board games and video games. Apparently there is a small cinema attached but I never noticed. No real ale so its lager-a-likes and cocktails. I thought it was an ok place despite it not really my cup of tea.

A really nicely done cellar bar under the Hatters Hostel. There's a small room to the left as you come down the steps into the bar, three booths to the right and three more to the rear. Lots of old tiling behind the bar and a very industrial looking ceiling. Large lumps of candle wax on the table which suggests that this is candlelit at nights. 80's funk being played at a sensible volume. Trivial Pursuit cards in the menu holders. No real ale though, so I had a half of Amstel which was £2. It's much better than I was expecting.
