Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bloxwich Showman (JD Wetherspoon)
Impressive conversion of a former cinema, named in honour of a local pioneer of the 'moving pictures'. The bar is located in the former stalls (up four steps from the front door, with the mezzanine seating area above). Bloxwich Showman. May not be the greatest 'spoons by any means, but on this visit at least it was: a) open; b) serving food; c) selling cask ale from two banks of six handpumps; and d) in particular, offering Enville's Old Porter at £1.99.

Decent cinema conversion on two levels. Pretty busy on my lunchtime visit. A good selection of guest ales and my pint of Central City Red Racer from the recent beer festival was in great nick and only £1.99. Worth a visit.

Tidy Art Deco place - a former cinema – over two tiers. The upstairs area is particularly nice and an effort has been made with the modern fixtures and fittings to retain a feel of Art Deco, such as the impressive servery. It’s also light and bright throughout. Notes are sparse due to the day’s cumulative consumption taking its toll and I didn’t Untap the beer I had, but I do recall being pleased with it and was easily good enough to justify the GBG listing. So that will have to do.
