Strongers . left this review about The Saracens Head
The Saracen’s Head has split bars where the left hand bar is the quieter of the two. In the right hand bar there is a pool table at the rear and a jukebox on the wall that was playing songs by artists such as Sham 69. I didn’t spot any televisions or any advertisements for Sky Sports. Out the back is a paved beer garden with some picnic tables and strangely there was a large burning log billowing smoke in the centre of the garden.
The three locals in attendance during my visit on Thursday evening a couple of weeks ago all seemed harmless enough and the barman was friendly. However, I was a little miffed at how I ordered half a Carlsberg and ended up with a pint of Export. There were other draught options available and one of the two hand pumps was off leaving Abbot as the sole ale.
I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here again.
