As far as Airport bars go, I think they have done a good job. The Beer House catchphrase is "Come and have a pint before your flight". Tyne Bank Brewery own the Beer House. The area they are based on airside is quite rustic in décor with lots of raw and grey painted timbers and raw timber topped tables. There was a good range of draught and cask beers, with Tyne Bank being the main feature here, with their seasonal and regular beers. They also advertise proper stotties with pulled pork and BBQ beef brisket, which I didn't try. Prices are expensive, which is to be expected, when in an airport.
