Locals pub near station, needs a bit of TLC, does have real ale in Pride and Doom Bar but poor quality

EI Craft Union place. Long and narrow interior that has had a few quid spent on it presumably in an attempt to move it upmarket and it smelt of almost new. Darts, pool, TV sports and beer garden. Not much craft here though, just Doom Bar and Timothy Taylor Landlord. A half of the former was at least in decent shape (NBSS 3). Enjoyed overhearing the Brummie barmaid recalling the tales of the previous night's ejections from the pub and elsewhere in the town.

Noisy sports pub in seaside town, which tells you most of what you need to know. One long narrow room, stretching back to a pool table at the rear, with a reasonable and partly covered patio area behind. A pair of hsndpumps offered a Marston's brew at time of visit, otherwise a fairly basic keg selection. Handy for the station, but not much else of note.
