Upmarket foody bar off the beaten track. Modern interior refit, with a long narrow bar at the far wall with exposed brick back. Opens up for dining at the left-hand end of the bar, with a tub chair heavy lounge to the right side. I did rather like the deep purple banquette seat fabric though slightly less taken by the patterned carpet. The stove fireplace could be a nice focal point but was a little under-utilised. To the rear was a well-appointed and well-manicured grass garden. Just one ale, an on-the-turn 6X which rather ruined the ambience. Not one I’d be looking to do again.
