Quite a handsome front, and the interior does not disappoint. The bar counter is to the left, and a second room is beyond. Three Taylor's beers on, but apparently alcohol is not served before midday. I had a pretty decent Americano for just £2.70. Unrelenting pop music was at a high volume, making it difficult for me to hear what the server was saying to me. Opening times are on the website (see link below); closed Monday and Tuesday, 5pm closing except Friday and Saturday.

Now seems to be run directly by the KWVR with volunteer staff and limited opening hours. Four pulls at one end of the counter with Taylors beers, Landlord, Boltmaker & Golden Best on this occasion, in nice condition. Handy for trains on the main line or KWVR when the bar is open, main line trains are shown on a screen above the counter. As it’s a buffet bar, food is available but doesn’t take over, it looks like mainly drinking at the front, dining at the back which is less canteen like.

Visited back in Feb, there are four hand pulls with three on at the time of my visit, the other unclipped. On offer was TT Boltmaker, TT Golden Best and TT Landlord. Well we are in Keighley, after all. My Boltmaker set me back £2.50 for a half and had a bit of a farty aroma to it, but it tasted OK. Seemed a bit pricey and the service was not that friendly.

There are tables and chairs throughout the front room.

I didn't really take to the place and it felt a bit sterile, then again anywhere would after the Volunteers! It was also a bit chilly.

Nice to have tried but doesn't seem anything to rush back for.
