The bar was situated on the left of entrance. This was modern in style with the bar counter along the rear wall. There were three handpumps with two ales on, I was happy to see they had Conwy Brewery Beachcomber Blonde, which was excellent. We visited the next evening to find Hadrian & Border Farne Island, another good beer and again well kept. This is a dog friendly hotel, so we did come across a lot of pooches around the place.
