Goose Island IPA was the only thing worthwhile. Very popular this Saturday afternoon for some reason. Been in worse.

Hideous basement bar. There is no real ale so I had a Guinness which sadly tasted like liquid Germolene. After changing it for a San Miguel I suddenly yearned for the Germolene. If you can't get Guinness or lager right then you've a problem. There was also a black dog walking around the place on this afternoon visit, which could possibly have provided the source of the beer. 4 pool tables for those inclined.

A cellar bar that is very club like. There's one main room, a sunken pool room with 4 tables and another area called the bunker which was closed on my Friday, early evening visit. There's a real mix of all types of tables and chairs. No real ale, but a couple of craft keg pumps. I had a half of Sam Adams at £2.30 and sat at the bar and watched the circus as they tried to serve the clueless post work crowd who didn't know what they wanted to drink.
