A single room, single storey, bar run by an enthusiastic couple, the emphasis here is on the civilised enjoyment of some of the world's finest beer especially from that bastion of fine ales Belgium, other countries are represented. It's on the edge of Bedale by the railway station with modern style seating on board floors, the decor is almost all Belgian beer ads in steel, mirror and cloth, there's a Scottish intrusion in the form of Brewdog. Only bottled beers other than a couple of choice European beers on keg, Bruges Zot for example. Definitely not what to expect in rural North Yorkshire even if it's just two miles from junction 51 of the A1M.
