The sign outside says it's a free house but it isn't, this is the brewery tap for the Stratford-on-Avon brewery. Odd really as it's a fair stretch from Stratford..but no matter it's a fine village green pub in a pretty Cotswold village. From the outside the building has an oddly suburban feel about it, it must be the recent extension on the right, but inside you get the usual stone floors, exposed beams, open fires and all the rest in two small rooms, with the restaurant in the aforementioned new bit. Nice garden at the front to view the village green from. It's in the GBG, and they have the full range from Stratford, though I must say the example I tried was not a good advertisement for brewery or pub. Been in the pipes a while, like all day, methinks.

All that being as it may, it's well worth a trip out - check opening times midweek - but be aware that this is Chipping Norton Set heartland, and you may find some of the clientele's noisy braying distracting.
