The pub is quite larger on the inside than it's appearance from the outside suggests.On entry the bar is to the left of a rather dour room and beyond this there is another room stretching both sides of the entrance.
There was a couple of cask beers on the go although the one i sampled had certainly seen better days.

I L left this review about The Queens Hotel
It looks as if this place has been recently modernised inside as all very clinical with a light timbered floor. The front half seems to be more the dining area with the rear area past the long bar more for the locals alonf with a pool table.
There are 4 handpumps but only one was in use serving Butcombe bitter. It was a bit on the cold side but otherwise tasted fine.
