More like a motorway service station than a pub, though it has to be said the views are a lot better. It turns out that it's the sort of destination that families go to when they celebrate Mothers Day. Especially when those mothers have not had an alcoholic beverage in recent memory. I was surprised to find a hand pump serving a beer from Purple Moose - its companion Wainwright had run off and the pump clip turned around. My almost pint of Calon Lan was very good (NBSS 3.5), but a tear-inducing £5.80. Anyone tempted to follow in my car's tyre tracks, be warned: there are road humps every 20 metres in the kilometre or so of holiday park tracks from the road.

Superb location on the coast path, with extensive views and outside decking to make the most of those views. Inside, a chainy, Wetherspoons kind of feel. Mainly setup for dining and the menu did look superb, but we only stopped for a drink. Two real ales on and I was allowed a sample before choosing on California by Conwy Brewery.
Really can't beat the location!
