One of a change of lounge bar/cafes, no real ale, whose main clientele is the shopping fraternity – or sorority would be a better description. The entrance is below ground level and fits in well with the original Brewery building in which this shopping centre has been constructed. The doors are reached down brick steps, and while there is also a small lift for wheelchairs and prams, and possibly Daleks, it was out of action through vandalism. Inside, the single room is fitted out the same as every other lounge in the chain. The staff were friendly enough, it’s not over-expensive, but it just isn’t a pub.
