This is now the Clapham branch and sister venue of the one in Covent Garden. BrewDog it most certainly isn’t any more! It has had a big make over and is now an over styled bar (but not as much as the venue from earlier this evening). Cheaper furnishings with plenty of high tables dotted around the central part and some lower tables with stools or banquettes to sit at whilst sipping on the cocktail you are likely to be having here. There is some seating out the front on chairs or benches all decorated with colourful cushions! Not sure why you would want to sit outside as Battersea Rise is a pretty damn busy Highway!

Beer is standard lagers (Moretti, Asahi,Peroni, Estrella, Corona etc) with Camden Pale Ale and Nick Oil being other unimaginative options. Aspall is the sole equally unexciting cider here.

Music is a bit overloud and the venue just lacks any atmosphere (and that’s without the overbearing room perfume you sometimes get in these types of bar). Definitely some visit here. The branch in Covent Garden is more intimate and quite classy.

Smaller and more intimate than a number of BD venues, though with the usual battered Biffa Bin industrial stylings and dark grey / blue paintwork. The front of the pub opens out into a terrace which makes for a fairly pleasant feel on a sunny day, the traffic on the busy road outside notwithstanding. A sensible swing and blues soundtrack played which enhanced the atmosphere on a lazy summer’s Saturday afternoon. Usual silly prices and measurements but some good fridge items and an up-to-date beer menu too. Friendly female staff who were less snooty than others I’ve encountered in the chain. Overall it’s not bad for what it is. 6.5

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about BrewDog

Odd little place, converted from a restaurant, with a small covered terrace at the front. Mix of cheap seating inside, including some booths along one wall. Having said that, the place had a good atmosphere in the early evening. 12 of their own beers on tap and another dozen cask keg offerings (e.g. Cronx Entire Stout, £2.35, half).
