The Fox and Ferret(Formerly Amigo's)is set in a prominent position in the centre of Hamilton,and is a lengthy pub with entrances both on Townhead Street and Keith Street.If you enter from the Townhead street side you walk through the dining area section and towards the bar which is on the right further along. The lower part is quite roomy and seems to be geared up for the weekend vertical drinkers. Although no chairs and tables in this section there are about 6 booth type seats to the left.No real ale on here but the pub was ok and served the purpose for an early morning snecklifter.
