A large roadside community pub, tidily furnished and with the slick feel of a well-run establishment. It is also nice to have a pub in pleasant light decor. The main room across the front holds the bar, a large side room has pool and darts, as well as a couple of comfy sofas, while there are partly-covered terraced outside areas to the rear as well as a large kiddy play area. Sport is clearly a strong point, with several large screens and numerous trophies; live music also advertised. Ales from Greene King: Abbot, IPA and Old Session Hen. All in all a good solid local, just needs a few more interesting beers.
