Packed on my recent Saturday night visit, live music was on in one bar so it was heaving in there, but it was a little less busy in the other bar and we managed to bag a table and seat.

2 ales on, both from Fyne Ales which were Jarl and my choice which was the 5.6% Sanda Blonde, this was a very decent pint that was well enjoyed.

Even though it was busy, service was swift from the bar staff, I got the impression they have been busy before on a Saturday night!

We stopped until closing time before heading back to our hotel. I've never completed the Glasgow based pubs from the 2017 GBG and eagerly await next years edition.

Sweeney's on the Park has a good-sized separate lounge & bar. The pub feels like a traditional working mans Glasgow pub with its traditional interior. The even better part is that is sells real ale. They are from Fyne Ales and sell at £3.30. There are no main meals available but there are bar snacks such as pies and sausage rolls. There is Sky TV for sports. Karaoke is on quite a few nights of the week and weekend.
