Probably the best pint of our four pubs visited in Kingsbridge - TT Landlord in average condition, with Doom Bar and Bass also on.
Half the pub beer garden roped off for a wedding, which hadnt started. Insider, more staff than punters in a square shaped drinking room.
Kingsbridge may well be the worst pub town I have ever been to.

Currently run by Punch Taverns and close to the quay, this pub is an obvious tourist trap. The outside area was full of holidaying families with noisy children, although the inside bar was quieter and a reasonable place to eat. The TV screens were mute, the young staff were pleasant and there was a small Jockanese terrier wandering around greeting humans. Food portions were large and unnecessarily expensive, but they were good quality. Ales on were Bass, Doombar and Landlord, fairly well kept. The keg choices were Cruzcampo, Devon Rock Craft Cider, Guinness, Moreti, Aspalls, Neck Oil and Mangolicious. Good enough for lunch or a few swift ones before ploughing on.

The Seven Stars is one of the better pub alternatives situated near to the Kingsbridge quayside. What was originally a square stone walled pub has been sympathetically extended with a modern conservatory providing a larger dining area in modern décor to the primary one in the main pub building. There is a pleasant bar area with comfortable seating, and a decent outside drinking area, which catches the afternoon sun. The beers on at the time of my visit were the usual Devon / Cornwall offerings of Otter Bitter, Sharps Doombar and St Austells Tribute and all seemed well kept..
