The Coyote is a bright modern looking bar - the light coloured wood floors and light coloured walls with pictures of beetles (nope I don't get the connection either but it looks good) give it very classy feel. This is added too by an impressive large central table area made from (what looks like) half a tree (think beach art). The bar area on the far side of the room as you enter is also an impressive sight, centrally light shelves highlighting what must be one of the biggest selection of Whiskey in Glasgow - there is also a good selection of others spirits and beers on tap (McEwans Red, Tennents etc) all at reasonable prices. Bar staff are really friendly and customers cover all ages (depending on the band) . Coyote is really more of a venue bar hosting some truly fantastic bands - however its location at the far end of Howard street (far side of the street Hootenanny is on) may be an issue for it and when a bands not on it can be pretty quiet sometimes only a handful of folk in - previously Coyote was a bar called Buchanan's which attracted a few lets say, heavy drinkers and on quiet nights these folk pop in , no harm to them but something to be aware off - Overall a great bar that deserves to succeed, just not really my scene.
