Occupying a former shop in what is now the pedestrian area just off the High Street, this is typical of the Cafe Rouge chain. Reasonable snacks and warm beverages, OK for refreshments and a convenient place to sit for a rest if you feel so inclined. But there's not much privacy or seclusion from gawking tourists and the salad-dodging Salisbury public, there's no real ale and the wine selection is somewhat restricted. More continental cafe bar than British pub, and I have quite enough of the former when I travel.
