Brand new airport bar for east midlands airport that opened last year following a 12 million pound investment. Despite what the name might suggest this is not strictly a castle rock pub but has purely adopted the name for advertising purposes (and to get discounted beer) this is nothing like any of their actual pubs. one long stylish bar offers a standard keg selection at the usual inflated airport prices. Guinness is £4.30, tetleys £4.10 and they also have san migguel, carlsberg and sommersby. there are also a few hand pumps scattered around the bar that all dispense beer but sadly harvest pale is repeated on all of them and has been the case since it opened. it sells for a very expensive £3.90. The only real drinking place in the whole airport so its really this or nothing and i can imagine is quite a lot nicer than many other airport bars. the beer was admittedly kept perfectly.

A new bar and restaurant decked out traditionally with wooden floors and barrels on the walls.
A full menu is available as well as drinks of all types but, perhaps surprisingly, only Harvest Pale is on the hand pumps across the bar. I thought that Castle Rock may offer more of their range to what is a captive market.
Ok for swift pint before boarding.
