The Half Moon is set in Billingham's shopping centre. It's a modern building with a glass frontage and has an outside area of chairs and tables at the front as well as a second smaller area further into the precinct. Inside it's a single open plan room with fairly typical fixtures and fittings and the bar at the rear. It wasn't that busy on my Wednesday afternoon visit but there were some mothers bringing their kids in after school.
There are ten hand pumps but the choice was poor with the IPA version of the JDW Trio Of Doom and Cameron's Strongarm doubled up, Maxim Double Maxim and one available soon. I had the keg Devil's Backbone as part of the Wednesday Chicken Club.
It's a shame the beer choice wasn't better as for a shopping centre Spoons I thought it was reasonably good.
