Old Blue left this review about The Crooked Spire Inn
Taking its name from the famously crooked spire on the village church, this is a two-roomed Enterprise Inns pub half-panelled white with creamy walls and a pool table in the larger public bar area. The two ale pumps served a solitary Doombar. Devoid of traditional features, it is very much a local village pub albeit with the obligatory display of leaflets for tourists about local attractions, mainly still there from previous years. However, we had a good time here, the bar banter being better than others we’d visited. I would come here again when in a frivolous mood, or if wanting to wind down into one.
