The Exchange has a long L-shaped serving counter that serves a thin bar area to the left of the entrance and a large open plan vaulted ceiling room with seating and a pool table to the rear. Seating runs under the front windows opposite counter and up the right-hand wall to steps that lead to the large rear area that can be shut off to create a function room. There’s lots going on in this Craft Union pub with open mic and karaoke on alternate Thursday evenings, jukebox disco on Fridays, live music on Saturdays and more live music plus killer pool and a meat raffle on Sundays. All of this activity also fits in with live football on both Sky and TNT Sports which are aired on televisions dotted around. Standard and premium keg were available alongside Brixton Lager and three hand pumps that were drawing Proper Job, Tribute (decent) and Adnams Ghost Ship. My visit was on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, but I liked it and suspect that I would be a regular Sunday visitor if I lived locally.
